So last night was pretty fun but ended in some bad drama for a few friends...
So the night started with mikey, mike, zach, and I attending Sierra's dance performance for her dance team. It wasn't too bad. They had this guy do some bomb ass pop and lock moves while he beat boxed. It was pretty tight. We then rolled back to Mike's apartment and watched Purple Rain. The movie about Prince. It was hilarious haha. Peeps started rolling by around 10:30 and then we all rolled over to the KOK house. The party was hella fun and got super packed. Cops started rolling by so me and the boys ran back to mikes place without an incident. We then chilled there and danced and whatnot and it was fun haa. I danced with Jessie, the 6'6 frosh women's b-ball player. It was hilarious. Her butt was literally on my chest when we were dancing. Damn I'm short haha.
The night ended with some drama between a couple of my dawgs' and their ladies...oh well..
Ok, time for fashion show rehearsal! Everybody go tonight at 6!

3:04 pm - Fashion Show!

So I got my math midterm back and got a 98 because I forgot to label my answers. How lame. Oh well though, 98 is still tight.
So last night was alright. Me, mike, mikey, and zach went and checked out Starsky and Hutch, a fine quality movie, definitely worth my 5.50. I thought it was quite hilarious and I give it 1.75 chopsticks up. props to ben stiller and owen wilson.
Afterwards we went back to Mike's place and alex had peeps over so we all just chilled and whatnot. there was some fool there named like "Aaliyah" and he seriously thought he was a bomb dancer. I just sat there and laughed my ass off each time he would try to throw a move down. He was so ridiculous that I felt bad for him. I ended up rolling home around 1, cause I was bored.
So tonight might be fun. There's a party going on at the KOK house so we'll probably hit that up.
So fashion show tomorrow. 6 pm in the EMU fishbowl. Everybody should go and bid on me on the date auction afterwards! The proceeds goes towards APASU too!
Erin's gone for the weekend too so she won't be at the date auction:( She went home for the weekend. I miss her already:(
So I really like Erin a lot. Like more than any other girl that I've dated too and its not only because she's really cute and has a hot body, but cause we have such similar personalities and we connect so well. We're not officially together yet either because she just got out of a 2 year relationship and she just needs some time and I totally understand. So time can only tell. Hope things work out the way I want them to. Knock on wood:)

8:36 am - Good Sunday

So I had a really good sunday except for when I almost got into a fight, but more on that later. So I pretty much just kicked it and did homework sunday afternoon until Erin called and wanted to kick it. So I just rolled over to her place and we just hung out and did a little homework. Then around 6ish, we rolled over to Hamilton to get some food with her friends. So we were all just kickin it after we ate and who did I see? ROTC boy from last year. For those of you who don't remember:
Last year me and mike were hanging out with some friends over at their dorms when ROTC saw us. He's like this 5'4 little hot-headed asian kid that's in the ROTC. He then told us to get the fuck out of the dorms cause he thought we were trying to cause trouble. OF course, this is all in his wannabe gangsta lingo. So it went something like this,"Yo foo, you best not be wreckin in my hood, yo. You know what I saying, yo. Get the fuck out, yo" So we decided to not cause any trouble so we went outside to leave. Then our friends came out to apologize for the guy and then guess who pops out the door? Yup, ROTC boy. He comes out and is still raging about how we're still here. Finally we just leave wanting to beat the crap out of him, civil nonetheless though.
So back to last night. So I see him and am instantly reminded of how he tried to start shit with me and mike. So I get back to our table and I tell the girls the story about him and just as I finish, and as the girls are laughing, I get a little tap on my shoulder. I look up and its ROTC boy and he wants to talk to me. SO I'm thinking,"haha, he heard me talking about him." So I got up and was like,"whats going on? What can I do for you", just really polite and civil. And he's like,"You staring at me, motherfucker?" and I'm thinking,"hmm he doesn't even know who I am." So I'm like,"nah, I glanced over at you cause you looked familiar and I was just wondering where I know you from." Then he's like," You a fucking fag, motherfucker? Why the fuck you staring at me, yo. You got beef!?" And I'm like,"whoa, no, of course not. I don't have beef with you and I'm not a fag." I'm trying to be all nice and civil and the whole time I'm smiling, laughing to myself. ANd I think that pissed him off more. So the convo went on for a while of him asking me the same question and me saying the same thing. He even had like a little asian flunkie behind him as back up. Finally he was like,"aight yo, I can either leave here thinking you're a fucking fag for staring at me, or you got beef with me and u can settle it right here with me." So I'm just like,"dude, you can leave here thinking I'm a fag because I don't have any beef with you. And no disrespect for looking at you. I have no problem with you whatsoever." I'm trying to be as civil as possible too. And the whole time he's trying to get in my face but not really succeeding cause he's shorter than me. What was really messed up though, was that he didn't even recognize me from last year but that he just thought he was all hard. Finally he left telling me I was a fag, but I was like whatever. The last thing he asked me was where I was from and he told me he was from "Long beach, california, yo" so obviously he's a true gangsta haha. I thought I handled the situation well too.
So after that little incident we all rolled back to the dorms and me and erin just cuddled and watched a movie. It was nice. A nice ending to a good sunday:) aight I'm out. late kids.

4:00 pm - Procrastinating...

So I wanted to write my essay for my greek classics class today but I have no inspiration to write it at all. So I'm procrastinating.
I signed up for classes on friday and it turns out I'll be taking Math 243 (hopefully with Erin again), Chinese 203, Chinese Lit 307, and DSC 199. Another fun load of classes. Yippee.
So friday night was pretty boring. I ended up just driving my friends around to lame parties. One of the parties there was tons of sophomores in high school there. that was way lame. Luckily I left after a bit and just headed home. Saturday night was fun though. Erin came over for dinner and then we just kicked it and watched a movie. Then she spent the night. We woke up around 7:30 and just cuddled in bed until like 1:30. It was nice and I had a great time doing it. Anyways, I'm out. late kids

10:15 am - Another week come and gone...

I had an accounting midterm earlier this week and I think I did alright on it so we will see. Knock on wood. This week has been alright, nothing really crazy or anything, just homework and whatnot. I got to hang out with Erin a good amount too so that was awesome:) I have such a good time with her thats its not even funny. Everything we do is fun if I'm with her. Like last night she came over and all we did was goof off and eat food, and then she spent the night. I had a great time. What an awesome girl! I probably won't get to hang out with her tho until like sunday:( Like her ex is coming up to see her so she'll probably be busy showing him around...and I'll be working at the asian celebration, which is where everyone should be going this weekend! I'll be wearing my sweet ass pink shirt too.
I haven't had much sleep lately, like less than 12 or so hours in the past 3 days. Oh well. ANyways, I'm out. Late kids.

5:20 pm - A successful v-day!
|
So there was a bit of drama going on in my life earlier this week with Erin but we had a talk on wednesday night and things are fine again:)
So friday I had to skip school and drive to North Bend for their high school district swim meet. It was a shitty meet with low sales but I got to work a good 11 hours. Then at night, Erin wanted to kick it so I went and picked her up and we just cuddled and whatnot and just watched TV. Such a good time:) Then I dropped her back home and I went over to Bailey's place for a bit to meet Amy's parents. I eventually rolled to my house and passed out around 2.
So then Valentine's day I had to work until 4 and then me, erin, mike, and erin's lady friend went to dinner at Kuraya's and that was pretty nice. I saw this girl I dated for a little bit over there too haha oh well. After dinner we went back to my house and played a little pool until around 9. Then we all headed over to Bailey's place. Amy's parents then proceeded to give me several glasses of Sangrea and after a while, I was feeling good haha. We all eventually rolled out around 1. We dropped off Erin's friend and erin came back with me to spend the night. Overall, it was definitely the best valentine's day I've had, being able to spend it with the girl I like a lot:) Aight, I'm out. late kids.

1:03 pm - 96%, jigga what?!
|
So I got my math midterm back and I got a 96% on it because of like 2 stupid mistakes. I got pretty much everything right but oh well.
So Erin came and surprised visited me at work yesterday. It was awesome! I was pretty happy about that. And then I took her home when I got off work but we ended up hanging out in my car for another hour in front of her dorm just talking about everything and anything. Such an awesome girl:)
The night turned out to be kind of boring but on the plus side of things, I got to see some friends I haven't seen in a while. First mike and the boys rolled by and we kicked it and played pool and then Caitlin rolls by with her man and Sierra and jason. We just all kicked it for a while. They eventually left and I rolled to mike's for a bit and then headed home and just passed out. Good times.
So plans for today:
10-4: work
4:30-6: possible nap
6:30/7-9ish: dinner date with Erin:)
9ish-11ish: pre-funking with erin and friends
11ish-whenever:Cocktail party!
So hopefully tonight will be a fun and memorable night for all. Knock on wood. Aight, time to do some homework at work. late kids

10:21 pm - I hate accounting
|
I got a 74% on my accounting midterm. How very very disappointing. I hate accounting and obviously not that many did that well since everybody e-mailed the prof and gave her shit. Thats bullshit.
SO my weekend: friday night wasn't really anything crazy. Went over to a bunch of friend's houses and whatnot and ended the night by going hot tubbing over at Onsen's Hot springs courtesy of our buddy Jeff. Saturday night was pretty fun. We went over to Erin Baldwin's for a bit and for her pre-b-day bash and then we ended the night over at Bailey's and them. I ended up taking care of my drunken, puking friends haha. Oh well, what are friends for anyways?
AIght I'm out. late kids.
Oh yeah, kristina is being dumb too. Erin is not. Yay!

5:18 pm - ah the weekend...
|
I have to say, one of the best feelings in the world would have to be walking out of a test confident that you kicked its ass! I just had my Math 242 midterm like a few hours ago and I'm almost positive I got above a 95% on it. Well, I think I got everything right but I sometimes make stupid mistakes so we will see. But I think I did very well:)
So these last few days have been stressful with struggling to get homework in while studying for midterms too. Last night was pretty fun though. I picked up Erin to study math around 10ish and we got done around 1:30. Then we just kicked it and looked and laughed at old pictures of me back in elementary school. Then we accidentally fell asleep for like an hour. I woke up and took her home and ended up getting to bed around 3:30. I was tired, but at least I had fun studying with Erin:)
So its friday night and I dunno what I'm up to tonight. I'm just glad I'm done with those stressful midterms and can relax this weekend. aight, I'm out. late peeps

3:34 pm - midterms!
|
So this day is seeming to just drag on. I woke up in a good mood cause I felt hella prepared for the accounting midterm I had coming at 10. I even redid the sample test and felt fairly confident in ripping the midterm a new a-hole. Boy, was I wrong. The test was separated into 2 sections: about 4 written (with sub-questions) and 20 multiple choice. The written took over an hour to do which left like 20 minutes left for the multiple choice. The teacher also worded some of the questions strange and made what should have been easy questions, extremely difficult and hard to understand. Needless to say, it was a tougher test than expected. And I know I wasn't the only one who felt that way because when the test ended at 11:30, at least 85-90% of the class was still in there working on it. After that midterm, it just put me in a bad mood. And this rain doesn't really help and neither does having a quiz tomorrow in chinese and a midterm in math on friday. Oh yeah, and my new iPod I got has problems and needs to be sent back to Apple.
Lets take a look at the bright side of my day so far:
-got to see Erin in math, as usual, but it made my day better nonetheless:)
-went to go pay my UO bill and as it turns out, I had like a check waiting for me from my scholarship for about $130, which was a pleasant surprise and can help me pay for my iPod
So my last weekend was one of the funnest I had in a while besides going out of town. So friday night, my fam had a chinese new year and I got to hang out with Erin all night, which was awesome!:) Then on saturday night, our friends made up a faux frat KOK and had a huge party and that was way fun. Then on sunday, I just studied all day and then at night Kristina actually called me to hang out and we just kicked it and studied. Overall a really fun weekend!
Anyways, time to start doing chinese homework. late kids.

9:57 am - Sun River!
|
So in the end, our Sun River pulled through and it was awesome! Our friend, Bailey, decided to just wait until Mike gets off so that way we could all go and that would help cut costs down. So the drive down was even fun, despite not having a cd player. We all just talked and told stories and whatnot. We eventually got there about 12:30 am, which left us approximately 3.5 hours to party hearty for that night. All together there was about 10 or so peeps and we all got along pretty well too. During the day we just chilled and played poker and gambled with some nuts. And by night we partied like it was our job. There was also the hot tub so we took good advantage of that and hot tubbed like 2-3 times a day. Pretty sweet. We eventually got back in town on Monday. A weekend well spent with good buddies:)
So the week started off kind of stressful because I did like no homework at all over the weekend and to top it off, I started to get sick, which sucked a lot of ass. Luckily I'm now over it. By the way, Happy Belated Chinese New Year!
So the fam is having some people over for a late Chinese New Year dinner and Erin is suppose to join us so hopefully it'll be fun and that a hot spicy romance will emerge haha j/k. Knock on wood;)

10:31 am - hmm an unexpected turn of events...
|
So lets starts with whats good thats going on in my life right now and then we'll move to the less-than-good part. So I got a chance to hang out with Erin again like Wednesday night even though it was just studying for math, it was still nice seeing her outside of math class. I'm sensing a maybe possible interest? who knows. knock on wood. Oh yeah and I was also able to get work off for Saturday so I can go to Sun River.
Now here's the bad: originally I figured that Melanie, Zach, Mike, and I go could to Sun river in Melanie's 4x4 truck but the thing is, Melanie leaves on Monday back to school and her family wants to see her before she leaves; thus not being able to go up with us. Entirely not her fault so me and mike figured we could take my parents' SUV but nope, they don't want me driving the mountainous roads in their car and I'm sure as hell not taking the honda up there. And all our friends that are going are leaving early and mike has to work until about 9 so we won't be able to ride with them. Quite the dilemma. Our other friends might be going up there also and hopefully they want to give us a ride up like around 9ish but its not a sure thing. So a possibly extremely fun and kick ass weekend might end up not even happening. gah.
Oh yeah and earlier this week Kristina and I made plans to hang out and get coffee between her classes and work (9-10:30) for today and we confirmed plans last night. BUT then this morning she calls me at like 7:30 and is like,"I can't make it today. I have too much to do!" But I guess its alright since she probably does have a lot to do since she's going to Las Vegas for the weekend. I'm still annoyed by it though. oh well, I should really get used to her flaking out on me.
So two weeks of school down, 8 to go! Aight, time to go to chinese class. woot woot.

8:31 am - "Lah dee dah dee, we likes to party..."

So I think I like how my schedule has worked out this term because I get done with school everyday at either 1:50 or 11:20, which leaves the whole day to do homework and whatever else my hearts pleases to do, unless I have to work a grueling 3 hours at the speedo shop haha.
So Kristina calls me Sunday and we got a chance to finally talk and it went really well actually. Basically she's been really busy and stressed this past week cause of school, work, moving, and on top of that her ex has been giving her issues so she was having to deal with that, thus explaining her lack of attempting to communicate with me. Then we even went to the library to attempt to get some studying done but it was mainly a clever ploy on my behalf to see her for the first time in like 2 weeks. Good times.
So this weekend should be really fun and I'm totally looking forward to it! A bunch of us, like 12, are going to Sun River and its gonna be sweet:)On top of that, I just found out that APASU is also going up at the same time so it'll be nice to see those friends again too, since I haven't been able to make an APASU meeting since last year. AND some other friends that graduated from south are also going to be up there also possibly, so its gonna be a great time! Plus, I don't think I have to drive either! SO that's sweet.
What is also sweet is that my older sister was able to convince my accounting teacher to let me take my final a few days early because I'm going to..THAILAND for spring break. Its gonna be crazy sweet too. Then we're gonna go see some fam in Taiwan for a few days, which will also be sweet. Its gonna be tight clubbing in Thailand too, ohh yeah. Looking forward to that:) MY dad also made sure to remind that there were gonna be prostitutes present in Thailand that were probably infested with STI's. Thanks papa chan for the heads up.

10:19 am - school....

So classes have started back up again but I actually like most of my classes so hopefully this term won't be too bad. Chinese will probably be easy as usual, accounting actually doesn't seem as bad as last term, gender and sex in antiquity might be a little boring but oh well, and math is math.
So I decided that I'm just going to not care about the whole situation with Kristina. I thought things were going to go back to normal but I don't really know whats going on anymore. So early on this week we talked a good amount on the phone and it was nice, like everything seemed normal again. I mean, I still haven't seen her but its cause she's been busy with transferring credits, school, work, and plus she's been moving. But then when it seems like when she has some free time, we still don't hang out so its bullshit. So I decided that I'm just going to not call her and that if she wants to hang out she can call me to kick it otherwise, meh oh well. We'll let nature take its course. So she then calls me like the other night. I was pleasantly surprised..but then I found out her reason for calling: cause she had a question about the UO e-mail. Then she was too busy to talk and had to go. That was it. A 2 minute conversation about the university e-mail accounts. I haven't talked to her since. How dumb. If she just wants to be friends, she should let me know. Oh well.
On the brighter side of things, I got a chance to kick it with Erin, this cute half chinese girl in my math class from last term thats also in my math class this term. She's so nice and sweet too. So we just went and watched Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Just to show you how nice she is, she even tried to pay my way in but I wouldn't have it haha. It was fun too cause she's hella funny and nice. Definitely had a good time with her. I don't know about potential in dating cause I have no idea how she feels about me, but she is defintely a sweet girl and a great friend:)
By the way, the movie is pretty tight though it is really long, like about 3 hours long so prepare yourself. 1.75 chopsticks up.
So I don't remember if I mentioned it, but like last term this cute persian girl I met at this APASU banquet, whose phone number I got kept flaking out on me and just didn't seem as if she wanted to hang out. But then I get a text from her yesterday and she says she wants to hang out. I dunno what she's trying to play here but I'm hoping its not me. So we will see. I wish I knew what she was thinking. Yes, being able to read minds would definitely be sweet.

So I have no idea whats going on still. I finally talked to Kristina. I gave in and called her several times this weekend and to no avail. She would never pick up her phone and wouldn;t call back either. Finally she picked up today when I called. She sounded hella irritated and stressed out and sounded like she really did not want to talk. She apparently has been busy with school shit and moving into her new place, but since she hasn't called me I've had no idea what has been going on. So maybe she has been avoiding me, maybe not. I dunno, I'm just confused about this whole situation. She's suppose to call me later and we might hang out, but more than likely she won't call or she will but it'll be to tell me she can't hang out. gah, this is lame.
I wish I could read minds.

8:30 pm - Happy New Year!
|
So in the end, new year's eve turned out to be a blast. More fun than I've had in a long time. So the night started off with Alex, Nicky, and Crystal picking me up and then rolling over to Melanie's house. We then proceeded to pre-funk there. Tons of graduated SEHS peeps rolled by so that was pretty chill. Then we all rolled over to Ethan Ralston's party which was pretty damn crackin. I got to see tons of old friends which was awesome and had a good time throwing some moves down on the dance floor. And of course, all night the cell was ringing off the hook with peeps wanting to roll over to the party. Jill also came down from Albany to party with me so that was pretty chill. She was really sweet and fun so it was definitely a pleasure to see her again. Then we all rolled over to Nick Harvick's party which was gradually dying down but it was chill and we just all hella kicked it for a while. We eventually rolled back to my place to play some pool. Good times.
I guess the only downside of the night was not being with Kristina at midnight:( Oh well...
So it snowed a ridiculous amount last night by my house. ABout a foot and half. Jef's truck like slid backwards over a steep embankment and now we can't get it out without a tow truck. Pretty ridiculous shit. Needless to say, I've been trapped indoors all day. I'm hoping it clears up a bit for tomorrow cause I have to work and its gonna suck a lot if I have to miss work or something.
Ok so some new year's resolutions for '04:
*date a nice girl, not the usual crazy types or ones that will just play mind games
*get along better with family
*find a better job with more hours
*try to get a 3.8 for next term
Ok, thats good for now; don't want to overdo it with too many that I won't be able to accomplish. :) Anyways, I'm out. late kids.

10:13 am - happy new year's eve...

Well, I'm not high right now but I sure as hell don't know what's going on with Kristina. So she finally calls me last night around 9 and I find out that she got back Monday night around 9 but has "been busy all day" and wasn't able to call me until last night. What the fuck, she couldn't make a 2 minute phone call just to let me know that she got back alright even though I left her a message at her place before she got back? How inconsiderate. Then I ask her if she wants to hang out and she's like,"oh..I dunno." So I was annoyed at this point and was like,"fine, whatever, just call me if u want to hang out" and then I went and got some swedish fish to ease my depression about the whole situation.
She then calls me like a half an hour later and wants to hang out. So I head over to her place and the whole time she was acting weird. Like one second, she'd be all over me kissing and cuddling, the next second acting all irritated. She's also going to Portland tonight andI thought that we'd be partying together tonight. When I asked her to stay, she kind of gave me a weird look and just didn't say anything. So I dunno. I have a feeling she's holding something back from me and isn't being completely honest with me. I don't know what it is. Right now I just feel like I'm her little boy toy until she meets someone new and better. Like once she meets someone she thinks there's potential in, I'll be dropped. gah, its fucking bullshit. Guess I'll just get super trashed tonight to make me feel better. Too bad I only know of one party. How fucking lame. Oh well. enough of my bitching about women cause thats all I ever bitch about haha. late kids, have a good and safe new year's eve.

So I admit, at the first sight of snow outside yesterday, I was giddy like a schoolgirl. Then I tried to drive down Chambers. What a load of bullshit, completely icy and dangerous. I almost got in a wreck just driving down the hill even with my traction control on. And when I was driving back up, almost wrecked several times. Damn the snow.
But then I went sledding and that was pretty fun. good times. I also made a bomb ass mini snowman with a Pabst helmet. Pretty sweet.
Today was way fucking icy though, I didn't want to risk fucking my car up so here I sit at home. Its lame but at least my car is not fucked up.
So Kristina was suppose to get back to Portland yesterday and then was suppose to drive back to Eugene. She hasn't called or anything so I'm kind of worried. I called her house a few times and left a message but no answer or call back. I'm thinking she's probably still up in Portland at a friend's because I'm sure I-5 is damn icy and dangerous she probably wanted to play it safe and just drive down when its less icy. But wouldn't she have called? ....so I dunno...
Anyways, everyone should have a cell phone.

So Christmas went pretty well. The whole chan clan was pretty much over and there was feasting of american food and whatnot. I got some decent presents so that was tight. Best present: a sweet ass wet/dry electric razor. Worst present: ugly socks and boxers haah. oh well.
So alex, me, and my twin cousins went to go see Paycheck last night after the dinner. It was a pretty good movie. I give it 1.5 chopsticks up. I just want to say fuck the theaters for charging 3 bucks for a small bag of sourpatch kids. So delicious but so expensive.
So mike is gone for a week and half in hawaii and kristina is gone for a week in kansas so I dunno what I'm gonna do with myself haha. Things are going pretty well with Kristina tho so thats good.
Whats everyone doing for new year's? I haven't heard of anything going on yet and there's only like 5 days to go, meh. Aight, I'm tired. late kids
